This video was created by my friend Chris A Leblanc during the Cd launch of our very own Marie-Jo Therio at the Capitol Theatre in Moncton, NB. The theme of the soirée was to dress in 1920’s 30’s or 40’s… I went as Anais Nin (2 red flowers in my hair) and my good friend Johnny Diggit went as Henry Miller. What a super theatrical and amazingly classy night! Koodos to all involved.🙂
I have been blessed by the grace of so many wymyn throughout my life, wymyn who have helped shape the womyn I was, am and will become. I come from a long lineage of strength, endurance, sacrifice, suffering and passion and I am damn proud to be part of my clan. Femmes du monde, des astres and the underworld je vous aime! May we run forever with the wolves.
Nothing is ever too beautiful to wear. We live this life once. Live it in style.
Why NOT? Why not ALWAYS look good? Why not look good while cooking? Why wait for ‘special occasions’? Isn’t tonight special enough?
I was interviewed by Radio Canada after they saw my show at Café Maelström!🙂 It was very spur of the moment and I had practically no time to prepare. Even though I wrote a few things down I was so nervous I thought I was gonna pass out. My mind kept going blank and I just fought the whole way through to get words out. Regardless this was a fantastic opportunity and I am ever grateful to Alain Clavette for giving me a chance🙂 Merci Alain.

One week countdown to my show! The excitement sparkles all around me! I love doing shows in cafés. It’s so unexpected. There is an element of surprise and pleasantness that captivates the onlooker. People respond really well to seeing, for one, something other than paintings or photographs being displayed as though they were, and two, to seeing wearable garments on a wall. I can’t wait to see people’s reactions next Wednesday!
